Do we not have anything better than 2009 for a release estimate? Not even whether it will be before or after the March expansion? I attended the fanfest, and I still feel as if I only know as much about Ambulation as I did before crossing the Atlantic, honestly. |

I have actually used some pretty decent voice-morphing software. They can certainly produce some strange results, but it is also impressive how effective they can be with the right settings. _______________________________________________ 'The illiterate of this century are not those who cannot read and write; but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.' |

Originally by: Zaethiel but they aren't expanding upon Eve because Eve is spaceships
Eve is a setting.
That the gameplay at launch consisted solely of spaceships was a compromise. Refer to CCP's own statements, if you will. |

Originally by: Azeryn Pointless doesn't even begin to describe this new feature.
If I wanted to run around in a 3d environment I would play a tomb raider clone or a FPS. EvE is a game where you pilot spaceships [...]
When EVE was launched, more than half the features you know today were nonexistent, and many others were much different.
Love of progress is a staple of CCP more than any other MMO developer I'm familiar with, as demonstrated by the priority at which they hold graphical realism compared to the growing trend of craptastic stylisation -- and if you've been in accord with them so far, I'm baffled that you would draw the line here. This far, and no further.
Every new feature or change is decried as the death of EVE, it seems. Meanwhile, I'm logging in to see more players online with every leap. Whatever. _______________________________________________ 'The illiterate of this century are not those who cannot read and write; but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.' |
